To some of my startup clients and/or employers, this may appear straightforward, and that's fantastic! After all, simplicity is the goal we all aspire to, isn't it?
Yet, for my Fortune 500 clients and potential employers grappling with enterprise-level product development challenges, the landscape transforms suddenly into a multitude of services, each with distinct rates. These services may correspond to one or more employment types, either directly or indirectly through a staffing firm.
In other words, I understand the complexity and have taken the initiative to break it down into more manageable components. We start that by looking at the Employment Types I support, getting latest Rates, apply the May Mayhem discount.

Some employment type tiers may involve the use of staffing firms, while others may not. Notably, you'll observe a significant variance in rates when collaborating with staffing firms. This intentional adjustment is my way of acknowledging that businesses seeking assistance are already incurring additional costs. It's a proactive approach, demonstrating my commitment to invest in the partnership from the outset.

The Full-Time Salaries: This offer DoesNot apply to Full-time Employment Salary Work Offer Solicitations. It is not about the money, but the conversion from Contractor to Salary, in cases where I am asked to do a Contract-to-Perm project.

What does Creative Design mean?
"Create Design" means the creative (or Graphics) design phase of a project development.
For example, a technology like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator would be used to create the graphics assets of a website, mobile application or web applications. It could be anything from the proofs of the designs to the icons of a favicon, etc.
Even though I do not consider myself a creative designer, I have done a very good job at creative design proofs for mobile & web applications, business cards, etc. In fact, my experience across all business tiers of a modern web or mobile application is why I can offer such affordable rates and provide so much support.
What does Client-Side mean?
"Client-Side" means the client side (or front end) development phase of a given project.
For example, technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and even AngularJS are used to prettify and develop the end user facing "view" of the page or user interface of a particular location within a project (i.e. the contact form of a website, the pretty popup box that presents a message to the end user, an MVC view, etc).
I have over 15 years experience with client-side technologies, using the said above technologies and many more.
What does Server-Side mean?
"Server-Side" means the server side (or back end) development phase of a given project.
For example, technologies such as Asp.NET, Java, LINQ, Entity Framework, PHP, and even Python are used to develop the sophisticated middle-tier aspect, often handling the connectivity of databases, security (such as data validation and SSL), handling processing and much more!
I have over 13 years experience with server-side technologies, using the said above technologies and many more. Conversely, my primary server-side technology of choice is Asp.NET 2.0-Core over any other server-side technology, due to my in-depth experience in Microsoft technologies. In fact, my experience across all business tiers of a modern web or mobile application is why I can offer such affordable rates and provide so much support.
What does Database-Side mean?
"Database-Side" means the database side (or data store) development phase of a given project.
For example, technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySql & CouchDB are examples of Databases or Data Stores. The Cloud is considered a type of Data Store. Server-side technologies such as Asp.NET, Java, LINQ, Entity Framework, PHP, and even Python are used to talk back and forth to databases, getting and storing data as the Applicaitons or Web APIs communicate with the database(s), often handling the connectivity of databases. However, Client-Side to Server-Side technologies
such as JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, Knockout and even straight JSON are also used to communicate with the same kind of Data Stores.
I have over 10 years experience with database-side technologies, using the said above technologies and many more. Conversely, my primary database-side technology of choice is Microsoft's SQL Server or more lightweight Azure SQL database, due to my in-depth knowledge in Microsoft based Client-Side, Server-Side & Cloud based services.
What does Solution Architect mean?
"Solution Architect" is a form of technology administrator that is extremely hands-on with the project, but can also work closely with stakeholders and team leads to develop the entire project.
For example, a Solution Architect should be able to drum up a set of requirements, and execute on those items by not only architecting how the business tiers come to be, but know a significant About of technologies involved, and can co-develop the project too!
I have over 10 years as a Solution Architect. In fact, my experience across all business tiers of a modern web or mobile application is why I can offer such affordable rates and provide so much support as a Solution Architect.
What Does "Different Rates Apply" Mean?
"Different Rates Apply" means that the service and cost of service changes based on what business tier you need help with, and how many services you require in each business tier.
For example, a candidate who uses recruiters and talent acquisition specialists to acquire new contracts and/or full time roles, essentially gives up between 15%-50% of their compensation for recruitment services rendered. Assuming these new rates, most SQL Server development is generally no less than $90.00 an hour for a normal SQL Server full-time hire, especially one who is a DBA. Mobile development is easily $95.00-$100.00. Client-side is often $75-$85 and Server side is often in the $80-$90 range. Services like Creative Design and UI/UX range greatly between $45.00-$70.00 depending on the client wants. Hiring a team of developers would get into the $100.00s if we start counting the collection of services rendered with a single project.
My experience across all business tiers of a modern web application is why I can offer such affordable rates.
What Does "Flat Rate" Mean?
"Flat Rate" means that no matter the service and cost of service changes based on business tier, you get the same and simple flat rate.
For example, in cases where "Different Rates Apply", most services like client-side, server-side, SQL Server development and/or mobile development
add up in Terms of dollars, especially when it comes to big and/or complex projects that require various business tiers to complete the project. A flat rate ensures it will be the
same hourly rate no matter how many different kinds of business tier service is applied.
